Some Things Deserve a Second Look

"Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. That’s Relativity."
- Albert Einstein
She laughed again, as if she had said something very witty, and held my hand for a moment, looking up into my face, promising that there was no one in the world she so much wanted to see.

"I AM" Documentary

Provides not only hope for change, but the possibility of that hope becoming a reality.  “The truth of who we are, is that we are because we belong.”  This movie is the first to attack “What is wrong with this world” not by looking at the effects or issues such as poverty and sickness, but looking at the heart of what causes those effects.  The over arching greed and lack of compassion is what has fueled these “wrongs” with our world.  At parts it can get a little over “goody goody”, i.e. when they challenge the need for an economy, but they at least make a feasible argument by analyzing that we created the economy.  It makes goes almost as close as comparing the economy to the bad robots in IRobot, we created so why are we letting it ruin.  The best part for myself is the look into how throughout history an individual who is obsessed with accumulating more things than he needs has been characterized as insane, but now it symbolizes wealth and greatness.  But by accumulating this wealth, you have placed your luxury and standard of living over another’s life.

The prosecutor, who is supposed to carry the burden of proof, really is an author.
